Our Inn, dating from 1375, is older than the Church. This is unusual as it was common for a hostelry to be built at the same time as the church, so that the workmen could use it for lodging and drinking. During the years, many drovers with their cattle stopped at the Inn on their way to the nearby Old Welsh Road, bound for London.

Nuno and Allison Correia recently acquired the restaurant from the Pires family. Lino, Augusta and Peter, who have over the years established and built up the reputation of The Butchers Arms into the top class restaurant it is today. Nuno and Allison’s goal is to not only continue this ‘family’ tradition but to also bring a fresh perspective to the restaurant.

People come from all over the world to visit The Butchers Arms, situated in the unspoilt Warwickshire village of Priors Hardwick. The restaurant provides excellent food and an outstanding level of service. Our fresh produce is sourced from all over the country creating an extensive menu reflecting the very best of English, Portuguese and Continental cuisine.
